The Community Advisory Committee members provided a list of key constituent concerns regarding Airport Master Plan. The list will be consolidated and used to develop key messaging, Frequently Asked Questions, and blog posts for the Flightpath website.
The committee members provided input on public outreach efforts in the community. In addition to what is already being done (website, Facebook, Instagram, print advertising, and radio), they suggested the following be evaluated: billboards, digital signage, text blasts, posters in key locations, and other opportunities as they are presented.
The committee members were advised that the Draft Chapter of the Socioeconomic Data of the Airport Master Plan will be sent to them shortly. The committee is to review the chapter to ensure that the Heber community is accurately depicted. There will be a checklist included to assist in reviewing the chapters, and the committee will be given two weeks to review the chapter and provide feedback. A handout of Highlights from FAA Advisory Circular 150/5070-6B, Airport Master Plans was also provided and will be available digitally with links to various resources from which the data was collected. All comments regarding the draft chapter are to go to Travis Biggs, Airport Manager, for consolidation.
The Committee Members also requested a Pass Along Card with the project contact information, including website and social media handles. It will serve as a leave-behind or can be used when meeting with constituents one-on-one.
All CAC members were requested to attend the Public Outreach Meeting on January 29, 2020.
