The Heber Valley Airport is a key community partner for businesses, emergency services, and also, for love. Last week the airport team helped a young man pull off a surprise engagement.

Carson Bangerter hired a local pilot to fly him and his girlfriend McKinlee Robbins on a sightseeing tour over the valley. Little did she know that when they landed at Heber Valley Airport, family and friends would be gathered to help Carson pop the question. To the delight of all involved, McKinlee said yes.

The groom’s parents Kipp and Wendy are longtime Heber residents; Dustin and Heather Robbins are from Portland, Oregon, and came in for the surprise. The airport is thrilled to have been able to play a role in bringing these two families together.
